Saying goodbye

The worst part about being and exchange student that no-one says to you, is to leave your loved ones.

Last days in Prague I tried to spend as much times with those I love as I can, it was very emotional but for sure the best summer I ever had. Later in this exchange blog I will talk about why you should just do it. 

I just loved the idea I will chase my dream, and I will become more of the person I want, I am a dreamer and a chaser and the most determined person in the room. You are never too young or too educated to learn. If you have the chance, just don't think about it too much and do it. You will thank yourself later.

Gonna miss u Prague

So back to the main point of this article, 19 of August 2017 I had to say goodbye to Czech and my family, it was hard but I know I will gain so much more through this year.

The hardest part for me was to goodbye to my boyfriend, we are together almost 2 years and nobody can prepare you for that. Its scary, hard but nothing we cannot overcome. 

I was never a fan of long distance relationship, but for the first time I will be. He left 18 of August, night before I did for a week to Norway. So he couldn't say goodbye to me the next day, but propably it was for good. You just don't realise it..even now I don't want to and its over 3 weeks we said goodbye that I am writing this article.

Hello NYC

Just don't give up on your dreams only because you are in love. Anyways I traveled something over 19 hours, so you can imagine how exhausted I was. I had 3 flights from Prague to Dusseldorf, from Dusseldorf to NYC, and final destination to Des Moines. Capital city of Iowa. And my exchange family waited for me with those big signs with my name, it was so cute, the same as those American movies, hah.
